Scientists photograph a legendary sea serpent

It’s the sea serpent of sailor lore, and it’s been spotted for one of the first times ever.

You hear all the time about the Giant Squid being captured on film, a 50-ft-long beast with eyes the size of dinner plates.

But you think—there’s gotta be bigger stuff out there. The ocean is a huge place, and what about all those legends of sea monsters larger than entire vessels?

not photoshopped.  and this one’s just a baby

Scientists finally have captured footage of the elusive oarfish, a long, thin fish shaped—you guessed it—like an oar.

The one on camera is 8 ft, the largest captured is over 3 times that long, and it’s “believed to grow as long as 50 feet and weigh as much as 600 pounds”, which makes me urinate befiore thinking about getting into the ocean again.

I’m sure there’s bigger fish out there.

After all, the Kraken’s gotta eat something.
